Felix is a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever / Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. He has grown out of an initial shyness to be one of our favorites in the adoption ward. Felix is a friendly, energetic dog who loves to play. He needs a fenced yard where he can exercise, as well as a person or family who will give him the time and affection that he deserves.

Keenly Observed is all about promoting that which is close to our heart. Much like music (probably even more so), dogs are right up there in our love zone. And unlike musicians, dogs are extremely unlikely to do any of the following:

- produce a disappointing sophomore effort
- have a tune featured on Grey's Anatomy
- go to rehab
- become Scientologists
- stage a money-grubbing reunion tour

We've been working with some great dogs who are up for adoption at Dekalb County, Georgia's Animal Services (a.k.a. the pound), and each week or so we'll feature an orphan in need of a great new home. We hope that you'll find a companion here and then tell us all about it. The dogs thank you, and we're happy to have at least one section of the site where rave reviews are guaranteed.
